Michelle Hilburn is the director of a Sunday School. Her favorite private moments include NPR on Saturday morning and Sunday mornings with crossword puzzles and coffee. Her favorite public moments include laughing out loud at the theater, and officiating weddings for those who want a ceremony that breaks the mold. A graduate of the George Washington University, she lives in Arlington, VA with her charismatic cat.

You and Crabby Cancer Man offer an opportunity for all of us to understand the emotional pitfalls and ups-and-downs of managing cancer. My mother would have loved your attitude. You go, girl!
